Hani Ben-Tov Oren was born in 1959 in Tel Aviv.
She graduated from the Jerusalem Music and Dance Academy in 1983, and received an MA in stage arts from Leeds University.
In 1979-84, Ben-Tov Oren danced in Batsheva 2, and in Nira Paaz’s absence she replaced her as rehearsal manager. She also danced in the Karmon Israel Dance Company and in Moshe Efrati’s Kol Demama (“sound of silence”).
Since 1990, Ben-Tov Oren has been directing the dance program at Rishonim High School in Hod Hasharon.
