Gil Hacohen

Gil HaCohen was born in 1994 in Jerusalem.

She is a graduate of the High School and Conservatory of the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance. She was awarded the America-Israel Cultural Foundation scholarship for 2008-2009. She completed the Dancer Training Program at Bikurey Ha’Itim from 2012 to 2014, under the direction of Naomi Perlov and Ofir Dagan. Between 2011 and 2013, she participated in the excellence project of the Batsheva Dance Company. In 2013, she attended the NDT summer course in the Netherlands. She served in the IDF with the status of an outstanding dancer.

In 2014, she joined Batsheva Ensemble as an apprentice.
