Korina Fraiman

Korina was born in St. Petersburg, Russia.

in 1989 and immigrated to Israel at the age of one and a half. She began dancing at the age of six and participated in national competitions during her childhood. At age 15, she received a scholarship through the “Dance Flows” project by Omanut La’am (Art for the People).She trained and danced with Tamara Mielnik’s company, the Jerusalem Dance Theater. She later studied in the Dancer Training Program at Bikurey Ha’Itim. In 2007, she worked with choreographer Dafi Altabeb. From 2008, she danced with the Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company for six years, first in the junior company and later in the main company.

Korina joined the Batsheva Ensemble in 2014.
