Oscar Ramos was born in Puerto Rico in 1984. He studied at the School of Performing Arts in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He joined Ballet Concierto in 2000 and was awarded the title of Dancer of the Year in 2002.
In 2003, he participated in the scholarship program of the Ailey School and danced with the Hubbard Street 2 company in Chicago from 2003 to 2006. From 2007 to 2012, he danced with Cedar Lake Contemporary Ballet in New York.
He joined the Batsheva Dance Company in 2012.
