Roni Azgad-Hamburger is a filmmaker, director, and lecturer. She holds a B.Des. in Visual Communication from Shenkar College and an M.Des. in Visual Communication from Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design. Over the past two decades, her work has operated at the intersection of cinema, video, and design, including collaborations with leading cultural institutions such as the Nachum Gutman Museum, Heymann Brothers Films, and the Noa Eshkol Archive of Movement Notation.
Roni’s works have been exhibited in museums and festivals in Israel and internationally, earning recognition and critical acclaim. Alongside her cinematic and artistic practice, she designs exhibitions and visual projects for public spaces. For the past 12 years, she has been a lecturer in video and music video directing in the Visual Communication Department at Shenkar. Since 2012, Roni has worked with the Batsheva Dance Company on a variety of projects as both a director and graphic designer. She has created and directed video works for the company’s productions, including Sadeh21, Mixtape, and The Hole, for which she also created the graphic design.
