Dancer and teacher. Born in China, she arrived in Israel as a child with her family. She studied classical ballet with Valentina Archipova-Grossman and modern dance with Rena Gluck and Rina Schenfeld, in whose companies she danced in 1961-1963. In 1963 she joined Anna Sokolow’s Lyric Theater Company. At the end of that year, while still serving in the IDF, she was admitted to Batsheva as one of the founding members, together with other dancers from the Lyric Theater such as Ehud Ben-David and Galia Gat.
She danced in Batsheva in the works Daughters of the Garden, Luna Park/ An Excursion, Celebrants, Fun and Fancy, The Learning Process (1964); The Mythical Hunters, Tent of Vision, Sargasso, Nocturne, Saraband, Diversion of Angels (1965); Psalms, The Betrothal, Sport (1966); Blind Man’s Buff (1967); The Road of the Phoebe Snow, Come and Get the Beauty of It while It’s Hot (1968).
In 1966 she accepted Graham’s proposal for a scholarship in her school in New York. During her stay there, she also danced with Glen Tetley and Donald McKayle. Upon her return to Israel in 1968, she resumed her dancing in Batsheva but left after about a year to join Shimon Brown’s Jazz Plus Company, and later on cofounded a dance studio for children and youth together with Galia Gat.
From 1990 until 2012, she managed the art programs in Ironi Aleph High School in Tel Aviv.
