She studied at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, in the Bat-Dor Studio founded by Jeanette Ordman in Tel Aviv, and in the Hora Jerusalem Company.

At age 17, she joined Batsheva and remained with the company consecutively until 2012, first as a dancer and later as a choreographer. From September 2003 to December 2004, Eyal also served as the company’s co-artistic director and as its in-house choreographer from 2005 to 2011.

In 2001, Eyal choreographed her first dance piece for the Batsheva Ensemble, PAN, performed in Curtain Up (Haramat Masach) annual festival of dance premiers. Since then, she choreographed many pieces for the company and ensemble, including: INK (2002), Love (2003), Quite Village (2004), Bertolina (2006), Makarova Kabisa (2008), and Bill (2010).

Over the years, Eyal choreographed for other companies as well, including Carte Blanche (Norway), Tanzcompagnie Oldenburg (Germany), Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, GöteborgsOperans Danskompani (Sweden), and Nederlands Dans Theater 2 (NDT 2).

In 2006, she began collaborating with Gui Behar as a creative partner and musician Ori Lichtik, a collaboration which continues to this day. In November 2012, Eyal left Batsheva and founded the L-E-V Dance Company with Behar.

Eyal won many awards, including the Yair Shapira Award for Excellence in Dance (1994), the Minister of Education, Culture and Sports Award for Young Artists (2004), and the Landau Award for the Performing Arts (2008). She was also selected as an outstanding artist by the Israel Cultural Excellence Foundation in 2008.
