Tamar Rosenzweig was born in Jerusalem in 1997. Tamar began dancing in the folklore Hora Jerusalem Dance Group at age 8. She is a graduate of the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, and studied at the Thelma Yellin High School of Arts in 2011-2013. In 2011 she participated in a summer course in Salzburg, in 2012 she won a full scholarship for an American Academy of Ballet summer course in New York, and in 2015 she participated in an HJS summer course in Amsterdam. In 2012 she won the American-Israel Cultural Foundation scholarship in classical and modern dance. Tamar participated in the Batsheva Excellence Program and in the Yaara Moses and Yarden Raz Workshop. In the summers of 2015, 2016 she participated in the Batsheva’s summer Intensive Course. Tamar is a graduate of the Professional Dance Program directed by Naomi Perlov and Ofir Dagan (2015-2017). During her studies in the program she was sent on a student exchange program in the SEAD academy of art in Salzburg.
Joined the Young Ensemble in 2017.
