Yankele Piltzer was born in 1993 in Jerusalem.
He is a graduate of the Jerusalem Academy High School for Dance and the Dancer Training Program at Bikurey Ha’Itim. He worked as an independent dancer with various creators, including Odelia Kuperberg, Shlomi Bitton, Irad Matsliah, Tami Yitzhaki, and others.
He is a recipient of scholarships from the America-Israel Cultural Foundation, the Clore Israel Foundation, educational institutions, and more. From 2010 to 2012, he participated in the Excellence Project of the Batsheva Dance Company. He studied acting using the Chubbuck Technique and played the lead role in the film The Fabric. In 2012, he founded the project Art in the Street and has since been creating works in public spaces. He joined the Batsheva Ensemble in 2014 as a student.
