THE WORKS:
HOLD ME
by Nava Frankel
A performance piece in collaboration with all the ensemble dancers.
Through simple, familiar structures and a transparent mechanism, they become responsible (and obligated) to another existential state, where there is a perpetual, simultaneous, occurrence in both the upper and lower realms, in the midst of both the revealed and the hidden.
Music: Diamond Dancer by Bill Callahan
Work by Noa Eshkol (arranged by Mor Bashan)
The dancers will perform Mor Bashan‘s adaptation of three

DORA
by Nadav Zelner
A work for two dancers that explores our sensation of the mystical and the sacred in the realm of superstition, where imagination overcomes common sense. In a world based on logic and reason, what are the beliefs that come to undermine our rationale? Why are we so afraid of the unknown? The work examines the relationship between the controllable and uncontrollable and examines our need for these beliefs. Do they protect us or restrict us? And most importantly, what will happen when we stop believing?
Dancers: Shaked Werner and Avigail Shafrir.
